Kitchener Physiotherapy & Wellness is looking for a reliable, punctual, and motivated team player to join our team as a part-time/casual front desk Administrative Assistant/Receptionist. We are multi-disciplinary clinic providing physiotherapy, massage therapy, orthotics, compression stockings, acupuncture and bracing services.
We are looking for a candidate who is flexible can work Monday-Saturday
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure maximum client satisfaction through a high quality service approach
- Greet patients and direct them to assessment/treatment room
- Electronically book appointments for physiotherapy and massage therapy services
- Confirm patient appointments and follow ups
- Retrieve insurance information from clients and bill insurance companies online
- Keep record of end of the day and financial spread sheet
- Answer phones in a professional manner
- Maintain clinic cleanliness and neat appearance
- Prepare charts/files for new and repeated patients
- Keep track of inventory of clinical supplies
- Scan, fax and photocopy documents
- Respond to patients/insurance company inquiries and provide them with detailed information on our services
- Perform other various duties as assigned
Required skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong telephonic skills
- Good team player
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft tools: Office, Excel and Word
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong Organization skills
Required Education/Experience:
- Must have minimum one year of experience as a Receptionist
- Education: Medical Office Administration education or equivalent
- Experience in medical field and/or physiotherapy clinic is an asset
- Experience with WSIB, Extended Health and MVA billing is an asset
Job Type: casual/Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
