Title: Paraplanner
Duties and Responsibilities:
Your basic job duties include but are not limited to:
- Keeping client records updated to compliance standards
- Contacting clients to confirm appointments and receive confidential documents
- Assisting principal financial advisor regarding client matters
- Providing client service support, administrative and paperwork support, and fielding client inquiries
- Compiling financial reports and projections for clients
- Seeing through client requests and ensuring they are fully completed
- Assisting clients in filling out applications for life insurance, critical illness insurance, and segregated fund products
- Preparing client recommendations and run proposals and comparisons as necessary
- Following through client applications to ensure timely decisions
- Other ad hoc duties as required
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in financial services, insurance, wealth management, or a related industry
- Extremely detail oriented
- Proficient with technology (MS 365, Zoom, CRM software, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A thorough understanding of the financial advising industry
- Able to work independently under pressure, prioritize tasks efficiently, and enjoy a fast-paced environment
- A results-oriented problem-solver with a strong sense of initiative
- Fluent in English and Cantonese, both written and spoken
- LLQP license is an asset
Base salary range: $68,000 - $90,000 per year subject to experience
