The Role
We’re hiring an experienced Red Seal Electrician to join our Service Team, serving Central Vancouver Island.
This role is ideal for a well-rounded Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician with a minimum of 3 years of post-certification experience who enjoys a variety of work and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
Based out of our Parksville or Campbell River office, you’ll complete service work throughout Courtenay, Comox, Port Alberni, Oceanside, Nanaimo, Duncan, and Tofino. This is a hands-on role focused on troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer interaction across a mix of residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial environments
- Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with customers, office staff, and team members
- Work independently while representing Osprey professionally on-site
- Participate in the on-call rotation with appropriate compensation
Qualifications & Skills
- Red Seal Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician certification
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician
- Varied Skills with strong residential and commercial service background
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Professional, customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
- Experience with data cabling and fiber optics considered an asset
- Light industrial experience considered an asset
- Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
- Ability to pass a criminal record check
- Comfortable using mobile apps, job management software, and digital documentation
