Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Supervisor/Junior Manager to oversee daily cleaning operations within commercial and institutional settings. This role involves travelling to sites in the Moncton Area and other areas in New Brunswick on demand, and daily check ins with the local Supervisor.
The successful candidate must have reliable transportation.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff to ensure timely and thorough cleaning of assigned facilities
- Perform quality checks to ensure cleaning standards are met or exceeded
- Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company policies
- Schedule daily tasks and assign duties to team members based on priority and workload
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
- Maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Address client concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues effectively
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas to uphold cleanliness standards
- Support the team during busy periods or special projects as needed
- Complete payroll, and perform other administrative work as required
- Daily check ins with local supervisors
Qualifications
- Proven custodial or commercial cleaning experience, with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a cleaning or facilities management setting is preferred
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills for effective team coordination and client interaction
- Ability to lead by example, motivate staff, and foster a positive work environment
- Reliable transportation and availability to work flexible hours as needed

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
