Job description
CoverIT Canada is looking for construction labourers to install and repair our pre engineered fabric buildings throughout Ontario.
Qualifications:
- Punctual, reliable, and efficient.
- Be able to work alone, as well as part of a team
- Physically capable of manual labour
- Able to work outside in all seasons
- Able to work away from home
- Meet workplace safety standards
- Construction experience and asset, but will train
- WHMIS , Fall Protection, etc an asset
- Be able to collaborate, follow instructions and safety protocol.
- Able to work from and operate scissor lifts
Experience:
- Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction is preferred.
- Experience in the installation of fabric-covered buildings, pre-engineered steel buildings, or structural steel systems is considered an asset.
- Experience in carpentry, structural steel erection, general construction, or heavy equipment operation is an asset.
- Experience installing and servicing large commercial overhead doors (including sectional and rolling steel doors) is required.
- Experience operating rough terrain scissor lifts is required.
- Ability to safely operate power tools, hand tools, and work at heights.
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel to project sites throughout Ontario and across Canada is required.
License/Certification:
- Elevating Work Platforms (preferred)
- Fall protection (preferred)
- Scissor lift (preferred)
- Clean driving abstract (required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$36.00 per hour

- Peterborough, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
