What is the Opportunity?
As Senior Manager, Analytics and Insights, you will report to the Director, Strategy and Portfolio Management. You are responsible for generating data-driven insights, developing analytics capabilities, and delivering actionable intelligence to support strategic portfolio decisions and project execution across the enterprise.
This role provides the opportunity to leverage strengths such as: strategic thinking, advanced analytical capabilities, stakeholder engagement, and a commitment to driving measurable business impact through insights-led decision making. You will specialize in translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that directly influence project delivery and portfolio performance.
What will you do?

Lead the development and delivery of strategic analytics initiatives that measure project success, portfolio health, and strategic goal achievement, including spend tracking, resource utilization, and benefit realization

Design and build comprehensive dashboards and reporting solutions that provide real-time visibility into project performance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and portfolio progress against strategic objectives

Conduct deep-dive analysis on strategic initiatives to identify trends, dependencies, risks, and opportunities that impact project delivery and business outcomes

Lead preparation of executive-level insights and presentations for senior leadership and the Portfolio Oversight Group to enable informed strategic decision-making

Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and innovative analytical techniques (including AI/ML capabilities) to enhance the quality, efficiency, and timeliness of analytics delivery

Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytics solutions that support project delivery and strategic alignment

Provide ongoing advisory support to portfolio managers, project leads, and business stakeholders on analytics, performance trends, and strategic insights

Develop and implement governance frameworks for data quality, analytical standards, and reporting consistency to ensure reliability of insights
What do you need to succeed?
Must-Have:
-
Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or other quantitative field of study
-
5+ years of related work experience with demonstrated success in analytics, project analytics, or portfolio management in a large financial institution or corporation

Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or equivalent programming languages
-
Expert-level capability with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI)

Strong financial acumen with experience in project business casing, financial planning, and budget analysis
-
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work with complex, large datasets

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for executive audiences

Ability to connect data, process, and strategic outcomes; establishing clear impact of portfolio and project decisions

Credibility and presence to serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders
-
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
Nice-to-Have:

Knowledge of Teradata, Python, or advanced analytics platforms

Experience with portfolio or program management tools (Planview or similar)

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent

MBA or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline

Prior experience in Personal Banking or financial services portfolio management
