Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest cottages, common areas, and other designated spaces. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for our guests and ensuring high standards of hygiene and comfort. Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning services is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate. The position offers a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest cottages according to established standards
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and kitchens
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow safety protocols
- Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed
- Ensure all work areas are kept safe, clean, and organized at all times
- Short-notice, fluctuating schedule
Qualifications
- Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning services preferred but not required; training available for motivated candidates
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment
- Good physical stamina with the ability to stand, bend, lift, and move around for extended periods
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within requires timeframe
- Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow checklists and guidelines, and objectively inspect your own work
