We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will support our practice by contributing to both clinical and laboratory operations, with a focus on dental laboratory work such as fixed and removable prostheses. This role is vital in ensuring quality outcomes for patients while maintaining smooth day-to-day operations in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the design, preparation, and adjustment of fixed and removable dental prostheses.
- Support the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
- Manage dental supply and equipment inventory, ensuring organization and readiness.
- Schedule patient appointments and provide front desk support when needed.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe workspace.
Experience
- Candidates may be dentists (even without a Canadian license), dental technicians, or dental assistants.
- Preference will be given to applicants from the Philippines.
- Previous dental laboratory experience, particularly with fixed and removable prostheses, is strongly valued.
- Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software is an asset.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is required.
- Strong teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills are essential.
