Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Automotive Sales and Leasing Consultant to join our dealership team. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with potential clients, guiding them through the vehicle selection process, and closing sales while providing exceptional customer service. Your expertise in sales strategies, negotiation, and relationship building will be essential to driving dealership success. Responsibilities
- Engage with customers both in-person and via phone to understand their automotive needs and preferences
- Present vehicle features, benefits, and leasing options effectively to prospective buyers
- Manage and develop a robust sales pipeline through proactive outreach and follow-up
- Negotiate pricing, lease terms, and financing options to close deals that meet customer expectations and dealership goals
- Upsell additional products such as service packages, warranties, and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue
- Support marketing initiatives by promoting special offers and events to attract new clients
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-up tasks using dealership management systems
- Collaborate with sales management to develop strategies for increasing retail sales and expanding market reach
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the entire sales process, ensuring a positive experience that encourages repeat business
- Assist in B2B sales efforts when applicable, establishing relationships with corporate clients for fleet or lease opportunities
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or dealership environments with a focus on high-end or B2B sales preferred
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Demonstrated success in managing a sales pipeline from prospecting to closing
- Experience supporting or leading sales efforts through upselling and cross-selling techniques
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening capabilities
- Prior experience in automotive sales or leasing is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client interactions simultaneously
