Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/Woman Carpenter to join our construction and manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive expertise in various trades, including carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, and finishing work. This role involves executing complex projects with precision, interpreting schematics and blueprints, and utilizing a wide range of hand and power tools. The Journeyman/Woman will be responsible for ensuring high-quality craftsmanship across diverse tasks such as concrete forming, siding installation, roofing, tile laying, cabinetry, and restoration. This position offers an opportunity to work on challenging projects that require technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project plans.
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and tile laying with precision.
- Install cabinetry, siding, roofing materials, flooring, and other building components according to specifications.
- Conduct electrical wiring, plumbing installations, and HVAC-related tasks as needed.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other specialized equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist with construction estimating and project planning to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Execute restoration projects including surface repairs and finishing touches to meet quality standards.
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment; adhere to safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while ensuring high standards of craftsmanship.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Journeyman/Woman in construction or manufacturing environments.
- Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in various trades including carpentry, masonry, electrical work, plumbing, roofing, siding installation, flooring installation, tile laying, cabinet installation, and restoration.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools; experience with CNC machinery is a plus.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics and construction estimating documents.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in complex projects.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods; capable of working in physically demanding conditions.
- Valid certifications or licenses relevant to specific trades are preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $26.26-$44.54 per hour
