THE OPPORTUNITY: Philanthropy Coordinator
Calgary Health Foundation is looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and enjoys balancing strategic coordination with detailed administrative execution to join our Philanthropy team.
As one of our Philanthropy Coordinators, you will provide vital operational and administrative support by managing donor data and pipelines, coordinating meetings and events, and assisting with fundraising plans, proposals, and reporting to advance our philanthropic goals.
Key accountabilities of the role include:

Supporting fundraisers by managing donor pipelines, tracking strategies and timelines, and maintaining accurate records in Raiser’s Edge NXT.

Managing the logistics of donor communications and documentation.

Assisting with the implementation of fundraising plans, including coordination of cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities.

Coordinating meetings, donor visits, and special events, providing logistical and administrative support throughout.

Drafting proposals, grant requests, and gift agreements.

Generating and analyzing reports to inform strategic planning and progress toward fundraising goals.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate has exceptional organization skills with proven success managing multiple demands in a dynamic and time-sensitive environment. Leveraging their expertise in writing and self-starting disposition, the successful incumbent will use their proven communication and collaboration skills to track activities and outcomes to successful completion providing the necessary support to our fundraising team to achieve success.
Additional qualifications:

Diploma or degree in a relevant field (i.e., business administration).

A minimum of 3 years’ administrative experience, supporting multi-faceted coordination activities.

High proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint.

Direct experience in non-profit and/or in a fundraising support capacity would be an asset.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
It is expected that the starting salary for this position will be $75,000 aligned with the successful candidate's experience and skill set.
