Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated MALE Care Giver to provide compassionate care to an elderly man that lives in SW Edmonton. As a Giver, you will play a vital role in enhancing his quality of life and Mobility Transfer. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, ensuring a clean and safe environment, and providing emotional support to him.

Shift times: (about 40-44 hours a week)
Usuall AM shifts, monays to Sundays,
PM shifts, Mondays to Sundays, and
Mid-day shifts-2x a week.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services, including, bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean living environment.
- Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Provide dementia care as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of all clients at all times.
Requirements
- A male Care Giver with Previous experience in caregiving or home care is beneficial,
- Knowledge of assisted living practices and patient care techniques is beneficial.
- Familiarity with senior care principles, including those relevant to nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks effectively while ensuring a safe environment for clients.
- Willingness to undergo any necessary training related to caregiving practices, including dementia care techniques.
