Job Overview – Mover/Driver (Burlington)
We are seeking a reliable, physically capable Mover/Driver to join our team at our Burlington location. This role involves safely transporting and handling household and commercial items while delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is hardworking, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced moving environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, and transport household or commercial items to designated locations
- Operate company vehicles (trucks and vans) while following all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Use moving equipment such as dollies and straps to handle heavy or bulky items
- Provide respectful, careful assistance to customers with their belongings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles and work areas
- Communicate clearly with team members and customers regarding schedules, deliveries, and any on-site issues
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent injuries, accidents, or property damage
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in moving services, warehouse work, or commercial driving is preferred
- Must be 25 years of age or older (driver requirement)
- Valid G Driver’s Licence (Ontario)
- Clean driving abstract required (must be able to provide upon request or as soon as possible)
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy items repeatedly throughout the day
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
