Residential Renovation Carpenter
DeCarli Contractors is a premium custom residential contractor that specializes in all aspects of residential construction and renovation. DeCarli Contractors is looking for a professional, long term and committed Renovation Carpenter familiar with all aspects of residential construction.
Duties:
- On site carpentry and construction work, including rough and finish carpentry.
- Be able to take direction, work as part of a team and manage a small team of construction workers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety regulations.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Skills:
- An in depth knowledge of wood framing, and finishing carpentry.
- Skills such as drywall, window and door installs, flooring, tile, painting, caulking, wood and vinyl siding installs would all be considered valuable assets.
- Applicants must be very experienced with custom construction.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Applicants must be able to get to and from job sites and have a valid driver's license.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address any issues that may arise during construction projects.
- Applicants must possess their own tools.
- Applicants must be comfortable working at heights.
The Renovation Carpenter will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of recent experience within the carpentry trade, with the ability to effectively lead a team of workers while being productive on site.
The ability to collaborate effectively with other workers and subcontractors is crucial to this position.
