Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Night Shift Laundry Attendant / Breakfast Cook to join our team. This dual-role position is essential in ensuring the cleanliness of guest linens and the preparation of a delicious breakfast for our hotel guests. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working overnight hours to maintain high standards of hygiene and hospitality service.
Duties
- Operate and manage laundry equipment to clean linens, towels, and other hotel textiles efficiently and safely
- Ensure all laundry is sorted, washed, dried, folded, and stored according to hotel standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area throughout the shift
- Prepare and cook breakfast items following established recipes and safety guidelines
- Set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring food presentation is appealing and replenished as needed
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure all food items are prepared in a hygienic environment
- Perform routine cleaning of kitchen appliances, utensils, and work areas to uphold sanitation standards
- Assist with other housekeeping or kitchen duties as assigned to support overall hotel operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel laundry services or cleaning roles is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of laundry equipment operation and maintenance
- Experience in food preparation or cooking, particularly breakfast items, is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining high-quality standards
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and a commitment to guest satisfaction
- Ability to follow safety procedures in both laundry operations and kitchen environments
