Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and service-driven Bartender to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in cocktail preparation, bar setup, and daily mise en place, with a strong passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role requires proficiency in classic and contemporary cocktails, efficient bar operations, and the ability to maintain high standards in both service and product quality. Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and time management is essential for success in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic and signature cocktails, with consistency and attention to detail
- Execute daily bar mise en place, including batching, juicing, syrup preparation, garnish setup, and station organization
- Engage with guests professionally to create a welcoming and memorable experience, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Operate POS systems (e.g., Micros POS) efficiently for order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist with ordering and cost control
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including balancing and reporting
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain speed and efficiency during high-volume service while upholding drink quality and presentation standards
- Follow all responsible service of alcohol and food handling regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending within a restaurant, cocktail bar, or high-volume venue
- Strong knowledge of cocktail techniques, spirits, flavor pairing, and drink construction
- Experience with bar prep (mise en place), including batching, syrups, infusions, and garnishes
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong time management and multitasking ability in fast-paced environments
- Solid understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service standards
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- A professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude with a passion for hospitality
Pay: From $17.85 per hour
