Harmer Steel is a leading distributor of rail and track materials in Canada and the US. We are looking for a Shop Helper for our new Maple Ridge location. The location is not transit accessible.
Description
- Training provided but shop experience is preferred
- Perform a variety of processes in our Fabrication and Machine Shops including heavy lifting (40-50 lbs) and repetitive tasks
- Hours will be 7:30am to 4:00pm
- Overtime available at time and a half
- Compensation can increase to a tradesman wage over time, as a successful candidate acquires more skills and experience.
Experience
- Preference given to someone with warehouse, shipping or shop experience.
