Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable Janitor/Maintenance Technician to keep our facility clean, safe, and running smoothly. This role includes cleaning, basic repairs, and supporting daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Clean all areas (sweep, mop, remove trash, sanitize)
- Inspect the facility and equipment for issues
- Perform basic repairs (mechanical, electrical, plumbing)
- Complete minor fabrication or repair tasks as needed
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Help supervise or support team tasks when required
- Ensure equipment is working properly
- Keep records of maintenance work
Skills & Requirements
- Experience in maintenance or facilities work preferred
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Ability to troubleshoot and fix common issues
- Welding and general repair skills are an asset
- Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and building upkeep
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lead or support a team when needed
This role is ideal for someone hands-on who takes pride in keeping a facility safe and well-maintained.
Pay: From $16.25 per hour
