Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Apprentice & Journeyman Carpenter to join our construction team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop and refine your craftsmanship across a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and restoration work. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in carpentry and construction, with a willingness to learn and grow within the industry. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project plans
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, framing, siding, roofing, and siding installation tasks
- Install cabinetry, flooring (including tile laying), doors, windows, and other finish carpentry components
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with masonry work, woodworking projects, plumbing, electrical tasks, and caulking as needed
- Conduct heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety standards
- Assist in construction estimating and project planning activities
- Support team members in restoration projects and general handyman tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite to ensure safety and efficiency
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating
- Experience with concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, tile laying, flooring installation, cabinetry installation, and woodworking
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other construction equipment
- Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on scaffolding or at heights when necessary
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Prior handyman experience or general construction experience is highly desirable
- Ability to follow detailed instructions while working independently or as part of a team

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
