Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, mechanical knowledge, and experience working with various tools. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle issues to ensure customer safety and satisfaction. Prior dealership experience is a plus, but not mandatory. Duties
- Perform diagnostic assessments to identify vehicle issues accurately
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various makes and models of vehicles
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively
- Replace or repair parts such as brakes, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and services performed
- Assist in vehicle inspections and prepare vehicles for return to customers
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary parts and tools
- Welding, Repair, Accident Repair, Painting, Part Assembly.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive systems
- Dealership experience is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) as needed for parts or equipment handling
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred
