Job Summary
DIMITRI'S RESTAURANT is looking to hire a qualified individual delivery of food to customer houses.
What A Work Day Will Consist Of (but not limited to):
· Prompt and efficient delivery of food to customers’ homes
· Answer phone calls to take food orders, confirm details and accurately calculate total
· Cut, prepare and store vegetables, meat and cheese
· Operate kitchen equipment and appliances safely and correctly
· Assist with inventory management of supplies and ingredients
· Unpack, organize and store supplies and ingredients
· Fold pizza boxes and prepare packaging materials
· Bagging food for delivery and pickup orders
· Perform additional related duties as assigned to ensure smooth daily operations
· Be able to lift, pull and push a moderate weight
- Be able to follow instructions and procedures
- Comfortable taking directions and working under supervision
- Flexible and adaptable to changing needs
- Be comfortable and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Be comfortable answering phone calls to take food orders
Skills
- MUST have valid driver's license and your own reliable vehicle
- MUST have knowledge of the streets and Residential addresses
- MUST have a reliable vehicle
- Previous delivery experience is an asset, but we are willing to train if necessary
- Flexible with hours and schedule
- Good communication, writing and mathematical skills
Details Regarding This Position:
· This is a part-time position ranging from 20 - 30 hours a week
· The shifts can be any day of the week depending (this includes weekends and holidays)
· Typically the shift will start around 3PM – 5PM and will end around 9PM - 10PM
· Wage is $19.00 per hour + plus you keep 100% of the tips you earn
