As part of this opportunity, Remember When HealthCare will reimburse the cost of an approved Advanced Foot Care Certification for the successful candidate who commits to a two-year Return of Service Agreement following certification.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain a specialized nursing skill while working alongside an experienced and supportive team.
About the Role
As an Advanced Foot Care Nurse, you'll provide professional nursing care to clients in:
- Private homes
- Community clinics
- Assisted living communities
- Long-term care facilities (as opportunities arise)
You'll build long-term relationships with clients while helping improve mobility, comfort, independence, and overall health.
Responsibilities
Once certified, responsibilities will include:
- Comprehensive foot assessments
- Routine and advanced foot care treatments
- Nail trimming and reduction
- Callus and corn reduction
- Diabetic foot assessments
- Identification of wounds, infections, vascular concerns and other abnormalities
- Client education on foot health and prevention
- Documentation and communication with physicians and other healthcare professionals as required
- Infection prevention and sterilization practices
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Building strong therapeutic relationships with clients and families
Additional nursing opportunities may be available based on experience and organizational needs.
Qualifications
Required:
- Current RN or LPN registration in Prince Edward Island
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
Preferred:
- Experience in community nursing, long-term care, primary care, or medical/surgical nursing
- Experience with diabetic clients or seniors is considered an asset—but not required.

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
