Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as an Air & Hydronic Balancing Technician. This is a hands-on, physically active role suited to someone who enjoys practical work and problem-solving.
No prior experience in this trade is required. We strongly encourage applications from women who are:
- New to the trades
- Exploring a career change
- Interested in starting a hands-on, skilled career
- Apprentices or those looking to gain real-world field experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform air and hydronic balancing on HVAC systems
- Work on active construction sites and in mechanical rooms
- Walk, climb, and carry equipment (including ladders) throughout the workday
- Work in varying conditions (hot, cold, rooftops, heights, and around energized equipment)
- Travel to job sites within the city and surrounding areas
- Occasionally work independently
Requirements:
- Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual tasks
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation capable of carrying equipment and a ladder
- Bondable
- Construction site experience is an asset, but not required
Preferred Skills (Assets):
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of construction safety practices
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Basic math skills
