Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support while handling transactions efficiently. Your ability to communicate effectively and assist customers with their needs will be crucial in creating a positive shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services.
- Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring cash handling procedures are followed.
- Engage in upselling and technology sales by recommending additional products that meet customer needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area while ensuring all merchandise is displayed properly.
- Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism, striving for resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery.
- Demonstrate phone etiquette when answering customer calls, providing information or directing inquiries as needed.
- Support inventory management by reporting low stock levels or product discrepancies to management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cashiering or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with technology sales and technical products is a plus.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in processing transactions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers positively.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, particularly those fluent in English and another language.
