Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for the food industry. This role involves supervising staff, managing food safety standards, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. A background in hospitality, food preparation, and team management is essential to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving to ensure high-quality service.
- Supervise and train staff members, including interviewing and onboarding new team members.
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Lead team management efforts to foster a positive work environment and motivate staff.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely restocking of supplies.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and maintain excellent customer service standards.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food safety protocols, food industry standards, and kitchen experience requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant in accordance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments such as bar services or hotel operations if applicable.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling skills are essential.
- Supervising experience within a food service environment is required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage guest relations effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and interviewing potential staff members.
- Background in food handling, restaurant experience, kitchen experience, and the food industry is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards including serving protocols and hotel or barista experience is a plus.

Pay: $27.20-$30.36 per hour
