Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Shipper/Receiver/Warehouse/Delivery person to join our warehouse team. This role is essential for ensuring the accurate and timely movement of goods, maintaining inventory integrity, and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, shipping and receiving processes, and equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks. Responsibilities
- Load and unload shipments using forklifts, reach trucks, or manual handling techniques
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely and accurately
- Receive incoming goods, verify quantities against purchase orders, and inspect for damages
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and update records
- Pick orders accurately using order pickers and ensure correct items are shipped or received
- Maintain organized storage areas to facilitate efficient order fulfillment and inventory control
- Perform inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment activities
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all shipping and receiving tasks
- Support branch operations operations to meet daily operational goals
- Provide local deliveries to Customers, putting stock away in vendor managed inventory areas
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred, especially in shipping & receiving roles
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable
- Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments are required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and safety standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
