Our client is seeking a Business Solutions Developer to join their Business Performance team within the Business Solutions department. This role focuses on developing and implementing technical solutions that drive system, data, and process automation across the organization.
What’s the Job?
- Design, build, and deploy business process, system, and data automation solutions.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs, ensuring scalable and efficient outcomes.
- Perform data analysis, validation, unit testing, and technical reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and maintain solutions related to land and well data systems.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying automation opportunities.
- Ensure timely delivery of development milestones while maintaining strong documentation practices.
What’s Needed?
- Post-secondary education in computer science, petroleum, business analysis, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the oil and gas industry or a comparable blend of education and experience.
- Strong technical proficiency in solution design, data analysis, and application development.
- Experience with upstream land and well applications such as WellView, Siteview, CS Land, Execute, and StackDx.
- Advanced skills in:
- Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)
- Azure application development
- Python scripting
- Spotfire
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
