Responsibilities
- Take and serve drink orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring prompt delivery to guests
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and offering recommendations
- Handle cash and credit transactions with precision, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables or bar patrons simultaneously while maintaining quality service
- Assist in food service when needed, including serving food items and ensuring proper food safety protocols are followed
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and change calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Experience with cashiering, serving, or hospitality roles is a plus
