Overview
We are looking for a fun COTO registered paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. This role involves assessing children 6-18, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering interventions that promote functional independence and improve quality of life. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatrics with strong case management skills and a solid understanding of paediatrics. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to determine appropriate therapy interventions
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with patient goals and medical recommendations
- Implement therapeutic activities aimed at improving motor skills, coordination, and daily living functions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and home programs to support ongoing recovery
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and infection control protocols within healthcare settings
Experience
- Prior experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a paediatric setting is preferred.
- Proven ability to deliver patient-centered care with compassion and professionalism
- Familiarity with documentation standards and regulatory requirements for healthcare providers
- Ability to work with methods under Evidence-Based Practice
