We are recruiting a Personal Support Worker for a female employer with Paralysis who requires assistance with Activities of Daily Living.
Our employer is a working parent who enjoys being active and likes reading, listening to music.
Location:
- 10 minutes from the Kelowna Airport
Shifts & Hours of Work:
- Casual/ on-call backup position
- Mornings: 7AM to 11AM
- Afternoons 1:00pm to 5:00pm
- Evenings 5 - 9pm
- Willingness to cover for others when they are sick/on leave as needed
Compensation:
Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
- Assists with personal care including dressing, morning routine
- Regular cleaning and organizing
- Grocery and supply pick ups
- Assist with rehab (stretching and appointments)
- Assist running errands
Required Qualifications:
- BC Drivers License and access to personal vehicle required
- Willingness to learn and interest in helping others
- Someone who is organized, personable and willing to learn
- Comfortable working in an environment with a pet dog
