Job Overview
We are seeking reliable and physically capable Movers and Drivers to join our team. These roles involve transporting goods, moving furniture, assisting with loading and unloading, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in moving or commercial driving, and possess strong communication skills to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. All employees will be required to pass a security check as well as complete WHMIS 2015, Worker Health and Safety in 4 steps, and AODA. Candidates must be able to work all shifts as we are a 24 hour operation.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport items between locations
- Assist with moving, loading and unloading furniture, equipment, or other cargo using proper lifting techniques
- Ensure all items are secured properly during transit to prevent damage
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries or pickups
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and work area
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure personal and team safety during operations
Experience
- Prior experience in moving or commercial driving preferred (Training available)
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Experience with warehouse procedures and logistics is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required for drivers
