Job Summary
Established Retirement Residence requires Food Service Worker for the weekends and casual hours.
The Food Service Worker reports to the General Manager, follows established policies, procedures and standards, prepares and serves food for the residents, and cleans production area and equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares meals following standardized recipes.
- Ensures meals are served on time, at appropriate temperature, and in a presentable manner.
- Maintains established food rotations in storage in order to minimize spoilage and waste.
- Monitors quality and quantity of food supplies ordered, proper operation of kitchen equipment and alerts Manager of problems.
- Assists with serving activities at meal times.
- Assists with washing and ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen and all equipment.
- Maintains all required records such as menu changes, delivery receipts, temperature checks.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Pay: $18.75-$19.00 per hour
