We are looking to hire EXPERIENCED hard working, courteous, punctual and intelligent individuals who have a desire to work as a tradesperson. Someone who is detail oriented and takes pride in what they do. We offer training and certification courses available to those who want to expand their desire for doors!
As an overhead door technician & installer, you will be given the necessary tools, support & training to excel in this line or work. We offer a great work environment with an owner who is hands on in the field. Once trained and ready to go, you will be supplied a company vehicle, tools and equipment necessary to complete the day to day tasks required.
The job consists of installations of new garage doors and openers, repairs and maintenance to existing doors and openers and assisting other staff on projects. Your responsibilities include providing service for our residential customers & strata corporations. You will install or repair a door, lubrication of door hardware, or replace the springs that help doors open and close. Your duties also include working on the repair of electric door openers, safety features, and other components such as weatherproofing and garage security. You will have to be able to diagnose the issue and assess the needs of the customer before offering suggestions for door repairs.
