Job Summary: Design & Detailing drawings in SOLIDWORKS, Creating BOM, updating library standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Understand mold concepts.
· Design complete molds from concept to completion.
· Communicate and support manufacturing.
· Create and maintain drawings, BOMs and mechanical simulations.
· Preparation of 2-d drawings in accordance with specifications & other documents.
· Maintain ISO conformity in the production department.
· Participate regularly in R&D technical development meetings.
· Adherence to all GMP, clean room, and ISO procedures

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
· Knowledge of GD&T and ANSI drawing standards.
· Software knowledge: Solid works.
· Analyzing, prioritizing and problem-solving skills
· Strong command and ability to communicate in industry technical terms
· Excellent communication and organization skills
· Ability to read, interpret and analyze drawings
· Worked on multi cavity molds
· Silicon or plastic molds.
· Over molding experience an asset.
Credentials and experience:
· Mechanical Engineering diploma or equivalent experience.
· Mechanical and technical aptitude. Strong mathematical aptitude and hands on design.
· Detail oriented and ability to prioritize effectively.
· Strong CAD skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
· Minimum 5 years experience in continuous mold design required. No exceptions

Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
