The Opportunity: Manager, Actuarial Pricing
As a Manager, Actuarial Pricing, you’ll provide strategic leadership and drive the effective execution of the Company’s pricing strategy by:
- Leading the day-to-day execution of actuarial ratemaking activities across assigned lines of business
- Ensuring the development of accurate rate indications and high-quality actuarial analysis
- Providing timely and effective regulatory support related to pricing activities
- Translating pricing strategy into operational delivery by overseeing analysts and managing day-to-day pricing work
- Collaborating with underwriting and internal stakeholders to support profitable, data-driven decision-making aligned with company values and pricing direction

What You’ll Do:
- Lead the development of rate level indications and pricing analyses for assigned lines of business.
- Ensure pricing methodologies are applied consistently, accurately, and in accordance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Translate data into clear, actionable insights to support underwriting, product, and business decision-making.
- Support the development, enhancement and maintenance predictive pricing models used in Pricing, Business Development, Marketing, Underwriting and Claims decision making.
- Ensure models are statistically sound, well-documented, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and technical guidance for their team members.
- Partner with Underwriting, Claims, Finance, and Product teams to support pricing initiatives and strategic objectives.
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of industry experience.
- Direct experience with pricing and data analytics.
- Experience leading or mentoring junior actuarial staff.
- Consistency of applying accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail approaches.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel is required. Knowledge of programming and databases is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Math or equivalent is required.
- At least four successful Actuarial Exams are preferred.
The targeted pay range for this hybrid position in the following location is:
Canada – Manitoba: $113,000 - $140,000 CAD / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role and level. The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
