Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Cook/Kitchen Hand to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring quality standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, with some experience in food preparation and kitchen maintenance. Duties
- Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Support the cooking team with ingredient prep, portioning, and basic cooking tasks
- Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling as needed
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Assist with guest services by providing friendly and efficient support during service times
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to perform basic food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and cashiering duties
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- A positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving kitchen needs
Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour
