Location: Rocanville, SK
Schedule: 7-on, 7-off rotation | 12-Hour Shifts | Alternating Day and Night Rotations
Compensation: $35.00 - $50.00/ Hour (Starting rate based on experience & specialized ticket premiums)
Commute: Independent commute required | Living Out Allowance (LOA) available for eligible employees. Please note: This is not a camp job.

As an Underground Miner, you will be part of a crew responsible for safely executing underground mining, construction, and infrastructure projects on site. KEY REPONSIBILITIES
This is a safety-sensitive position with no direct reports. Your duties include:
Equipment Operation
- Operate heavy machinery: Scoop trams, continuous miners, cutting equipment, bolting machines, telehandlers, and skid steers.
- Install ground support: Operate drilling and bolting equipment to ensure structural integrity.
Infrastructure & Construction
- Build underground systems: Install conveyance systems and construct storage bins.
- Concrete & Shaft work: Perform shotcreting, backfilling, install foundations, and assist with shaft construction/ remediation.
Team Support & Safety
- Collaborate: Assist with crew line-ups, report progress to Site Leadership, and follow all health and safety protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Experience: 2+ years of progressive experience in an underground mining environment.
- Licenses: Valid driver’s license.
- Saskatchewan Certifications: Current Saskatchewan General Mine Safety Awareness (GMSA), Fall Protection, and Aerial Work Platforms tickets.
- Attributes: Strong safety commitment, positive attitude, and excellent team communication skills.
Asset Qualifications
- Mining experience: Drum miner or continuous miner experience.
- Tickets: Underground Supervisor Tickets (Saskatchewan), Blasting certification, or current First Aid/ CPR.
- Trades: Qualifications or experience in Ironworking, Welding, Heavy Duty Mechanics, or Industrial Mechanics.
Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
