Our client is looking for an experienced Oil Burner Mechanic to join their team in Inuvik, Northwest Territories. This opportunity is available as either a full-time local position or on a Fly-In/Fly-Out rotation, making it ideal for skilled tradespeople seeking rewarding work in a unique northern environment.

Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair oil-fired heating equipment and related systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues with oil burners and fuel systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Work on a variety of residential and commercial heating systems.
- Perform duties in both indoor and outdoor environments, including challenging weather conditions when required.

Qualifications
- Journeyman Oil Burner Mechanic (OBM) certification.
- Extensive experience installing, servicing, and maintaining oil-fired heating systems and fuel storage tanks.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
- Valid driver's license.
