Cable Monkey Inc. is seeking skilled professionals to contribute to our success. We are currently hiring for Full time on-site Lead ICT Technician roles in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada.
Our ideal candidates will possess:
- 10+ Years Relevant experience in ICT installation and maintenance.
- A proven track record in structured cabling and low-voltage systems and related electronics.
- Residency in Canada, as this position does not offer relocation assistance.
About the Role:
As a Lead ICT Technician, successful candidates will be responsible for all related tasks involved in specifying, planning, installing, testing and documenting network and structured cabling for our commercial clients. Your daily tasks will include:
- Inspecting Sites / Drawings, Planning for installations.
- Organizing, instructing and/or directing other technicians as sites require.
- Pulling and routing cables.
- Server room, rack, and cabinet installations / Clean ups.
- Managing deployments for Wifi, fiber, surveillance, access control, and audio-visual systems.
The role requires proficiency in ICT related tooling and test equipment, adherence to safety procedures, and collaboration with senior management and fellow technicians to meet project expectations.
Qualifications Include:
- Hands-on experience with cable pulling, routing, terminating, labeling, and testing of low-voltage lines.
- Knowledge of structured cabling standards and best practices for commercial environments.
- Thorough understanding of low-voltage systems and the ability to ensure safety regulations are met.
- Exteneded experience as a cable, telecom, low-voltage, or network technician is necessary.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and lift moderate loads.
- Reliable transportation to various client sites in the Greater Toronto Area.
- Authorized to work in Canada.
