About us
We’re a well-established Calgary accounting firm with more than three decades of experience supporting individuals, small businesses, corporate groups, and not-for-profit organizations.
As a CPA Alberta program provider and teaching firm, we take mentorship seriously. Our associates are actively involved in mentoring students and grading CPA exams, giving the people who join our team practical experience, thoughtful guidance, and strong support as they work toward their designation.
The role
We are looking for a junior to intermediate accountant to join our team.
In this role, you’ll work on audit and review engagements for a range of for-profit and not-for-profit clients across multiple reporting frameworks, including ASPE, ASNPO, and IFRS.
This role is best suited to someone who has already started building experience in public practice, particularly in assurance, and is ready to continue developing their technical skills, client confidence, and professional judgment.
We are open to candidates who are still earlier in their careers, but previous accounting or assurance experience would be a strong asset.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable working with clients.
Because much of our work involves being on-site with clients and building trusted relationships, we’re looking for someone who communicates well, asks thoughtful questions, and represents the firm with confidence and care.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with eligibility to enter the CPA program, or current enrolment in the CPA program
- A strong interest in assurance work and a desire to continue growing in this area
- A personable, client-ready approach and comfort working directly with clients
- Strong attention to detail and a professional approach to deadlines, documentation, and follow-through
- Reliable transportation to travel to client sites when required
- Experience with CaseWare, Profile, QuickBooks Online, or Xero would be an asset
What we offer
- A structured path toward your CPA designation
- Mentorship from associates who are directly involved in the CPA program
- Paid CPA dues and paid CPA program courses
- Meaningful assurance work across a variety of clients, industries, and reporting frameworks
- Health and dental benefits

- Competitive hourly wage of $27–$33 per hour, plus overtime and bonuses
