Overview
We are seeking a skilled Loader Operator/YARDSMAN to join our construction and heavy equipment team. This role involves operating various types of heavy machinery, supporting yard operations, and assisting with construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy equipment operation, mechanical knowledge, and a strong work ethic. Duties
- Operate heavy equipment including loaders, excavators and Caterpillar machinery to support construction and yard activities.
- Assist with material handling, loading and unloading materials efficiently and safely.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Support construction-related tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized yard area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate Caterpillar equipment effectively.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures in construction environments.
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is highly desirable.
