Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physician Assistant with the rheumatology department, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across diverse clinical settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your medical expertise, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. We are a dynamic group of six specialist physicians and two physician assistants who provide care to respirology and rheumatology patients all over Windsor-Essex County. You will be empowered to perform comprehensive assessments, assist in procedures, and contribute to innovative healthcare delivery.

Duties
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history taking and physical examinations.
- Assist physicians with diagnostic procedures, treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Manage patient care plans by prescribing medications, administering treatments, and monitoring progress in accordance with scope of practice.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Oscar to document clinical encounters accurately and efficiently.
- Collect and analyze data related to patient health outcomes, contributing to ongoing research initiatives and quality improvement projects.
Experience
- Familiarity with electronic health record system for documentation and data management.
- Hands-on experience is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical procedures related to patient care.
- Previous roles involving research or data collection to improve clinical practices are advantageous.
- Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare setting that requires multitasking and adaptability.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages and collaborate seamlessly within multidisciplinary teams.
- Must be eligible to apply for a College of physicians and surgeons ontario license or already have one.

Pay: $50.00-$65.00 per hour
