Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves engaging with potential and existing clients to promote our products and services, primarily through outside sales efforts. Knowledge of chocolate, food service and culinary is preferred.
Duties
- Conduct outside sales activities by visiting prospective and current clients to present product offerings and solutions.
- Develop new business opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, and market research.
- Manage existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and growth opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements that align with company objectives while meeting client needs.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that increase brand awareness and generate leads.
- Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to track sales activities, manage customer information, and analyze sales data for strategic planning.
- Provide technical sales support by explaining product features, benefits, and applications to clients.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements relevant to the products sold.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to expand professional relationships.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or related fields such as technology or technical sales.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Demonstrated success in business development and account management.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish preferred for serving diverse markets.
- Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce is highly desirable.
- Analytical skills for market analysis, sales forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of motivation and professionalism.
- Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies that support sales growth.
