About the Role

We have an immediate opening for a permanent, full-time Project Manager based out of our St. Albert office.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts | Office-based with regular site presence

Your Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of complex commercial projects from inception through to closeout
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and other construction professionals to deliver on project goals
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and trade partners to ensure quality and adherence to schedule
- Handle planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout — managing all project phases effectively
- Identify and pursue opportunities with new and existing clients to grow the business
- Align project outcomes with client expectations and company standards
- Maintain a strong emphasis on safety at all stages, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
- Uphold and promote ACL's brand values and reputation in all project dealings
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum CET or P.Eng. (or equivalent combination of experience and education)
- Minimum 5 years of direct Project Management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role; experience in a mid-sized company is preferred
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience managing construction crews and coordinating multi-trade projects
- Experience in both public and private sector contracting is considered an asset
- Federal Top Secret Security Clearance is considered an asset (not required)
- Strong time management skills — you can handle competing demands without losing focus
- Problem-solving mindset with sound judgment and decision-making ability
- High level of client service and interpersonal professionalism
- In-depth technical knowledge of: building envelope systems, pre-engineered buildings, design-build contracts, public tender and prequalification processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt and perform well in a fast-paced, dynamic project environment
