Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with dental software Maxident 6. The position involves providing preventive dental care, educating patients, and supporting the overall operations of the dental team.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup, also sealants
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately and efficiently
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain detailed patient records
- Ensure a sterile environment by following infection control protocols
- Support pediatric patients with gentle care tailored to their needs
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth office operations
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist
- Experience with Maxident or similar dental software preferred
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures is a plus
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Pay: $38.32-$53.00 per hour
