Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook pizzas to perfection using appropriate methods and equipment
- Handle food safely and maintain proper food handling procedures at all times
- Serve customers at the counter or in a dine-in setting with professionalism and friendliness
- Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sanitizing surfaces and tools
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure timely service
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment used for pizza making and general food prep
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail in meal presentation and quality control
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is a plus
