- Complete service calls, customer work orders, internal repair requests, and related documentation accurately, including labour time, parts usage, repair notes, and follow-up needs.
- Recondition, replace, and install parts on heavy equipment and related machinery while supporting accurate repair-cost documentation.
- Identify wear, defects, hazards, safety concerns, and potential equipment failures, and communicate repair needs or delays to the Service Manager or designate.
- Work closely with Service, Parts, Dispatch, Sales, and branch team members to support equipment availability and customer-related repair priorities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and compliant workspace by following 5S expectations, shop housekeeping standards, proper tool care, and safe use of diagnostic equipment.
What Makes You Successful
- You are safety-minded and committed to following policies, procedures, PPE requirements, and safe work practices.
- You have strong mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and fuel-system troubleshooting skills.
- You understand that safe, clean, reliable equipment directly supports customer uptime, branch reliability, and customer confidence.
- You take ownership of repair quality, accurate documentation, honest communication, and timely follow-through.
- You work well with Service, Parts, Dispatch, Sales, and branch leadership to support shared operational priorities.
- You are motivated to keep learning, improve repair workflow, and contribute to a people-first, team-oriented workplace.
