CNC Milling Machinist / Programmer
Location: Edmonton, AB
We are looking for a skilled CNC milling machinist/programmer with strong Mazatrol and G-code experience to join a fast-paced, high-precision machine shop.
This role involves programming, setups, and running Mazak and Fanuc milling machines producing tight-tolerance parts primarily for the oil & gas and heavy industry sectors. The right candidate is someone who can work independently, solve problems on the floor, and take ownership of the work.
Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines (Mazak / Fanuc).
- Write, edit, and optimize Mazatrol and G-code programs.
- Read and interpret blueprints and CAD models.
- Select tooling and support efficient setups.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure tight tolerance requirements are met.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Qualifications
- 5+ years CNC milling experience.
- Strong Mazatrol and G-code programming ability.
- Proven experience with setups, tooling, and precision inspection.
- Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
- CAD/CAM experience (Fusion 360, Mastercam, or similar) is an asset.
