About the Company
Axolotl Studio is a Toronto-based experiential event agency serving weddings, corporate events and private celebrations across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. We design and operate live branded experiences that guests remember. Every event runs to a professional standard, from setup to the last print.
About the Role
As an Event Photo Booth Attendant, you will support on-site operations at events across the GTA. You will set up and operate our photo experience equipment, engage guests throughout the event and ensure every interaction reflects the Axolotl Studio standard.
This is a casual, on-call role for someone who thrives in event environments, works well independently after training and takes pride in how they represent a brand in a room full of people.
Responsibilities
o Set up and pack down the photo booth station, including props, backdrops, and table
o Operate the photo booth during events and guide guests through the experience with energy and professionalism
o Manage print sessions and assist guests with digital sharing
o Assist with basic camera adjustments and photo booth settings (training provided)
o Troubleshoot minor technical issues on Windows and Apple-based systems and printers independently during live events
o Maintain a clean, organized, and safe booth area throughout the event
o Assist with instant photo keychain sales and assembly when required
o Follow on-site direction and event procedures
What We’re Looking For
o Outgoing, engaging and confident in social settings. You are comfortable in a room full of people and know how to draw guests to the experience
o Tech-savvy and resourceful; able to learn systems and troubleshoot calmly
o Photography background or familiarity with cameras and lighting is an asset.
o Access to reliable transportation across the GTHA
o Reliable and punctual. Late arrivals are not an option in live event environments.
o Organized, safety-conscious, and respectful of equipment
o Able to lift and move equipment (up to ~40 lbs)
o Available evenings and weekends
