We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Early Childcare Assistant to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will support classroom activities, assist with daily caregiving routines, and help create a positive learning atmosphere for children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will contribute to the growth and well-being of every child in our care.
Duties
- Support lead teachers in implementing engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development
- Assist with supervising children during play, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and engagement
- Provide attentive caregiving, including helping children with personal hygiene and comfort needs
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, by adapting activities and providing additional assistance
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to foster a collaborative atmosphere
- Follow all health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure environment for children
Qualifications
- Prior classroom experience working with young children in an educational or caregiving setting
- Experience working with individuals with varying needs is highly valued
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and development milestones
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and enthusiasm
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues
